Destin Pre-construction Investment
What is a Destin pre-construction investment?
Simply put, a Destin pre-construction investment is the purchase of a condominium, house, or townhouse, in the Destin area, before construction actually begins… with the forward-looking anticipation of a profit.
When a developer is looking for the money to develop an area, the banks will usually only supply the cash if they feel sufficient interest has been shown in the project. The developer then will sell units of the proposed
development to interested people so as to raise that interest. The more pre-construction units he sells the more willing the banks will be to loan him the needed money. In order to interest possible investors,
the units for sale will, at first, be at quite a bargain. When this happens in Destin, you can consider it… a Destin Pre-construction investment! As the development proceeds, the cost of each unit goes up.
A Destin Pre-construction investment that was bought early into the program will usually find that they have made a handsome profit. That is, if they wait to sell closer toward completion.
Others hold on to their unit giving them a nice place to live at a price much lower than that paid by those who bought halfway though, or at the end of construction.
How are profits from such a Destin pre-construction investment realized?
Aside from the profits mentioned above, in most cases it works like this. Once you have made the decision to invest in condominiums, for example, you will need to find a developer that is looking for buyers and investors.
The building has not yet been built, so you will be picking the condo from plans and artists' drawings. As mentioned before, at this pre-construction point, the savings are usually very good. Since the percentages vary, exact
figures are unavailable. Now that you've purchased your Destin pre-construction investment, you have the option of reselling it once the building's construction is done and the remaining condo units have gone up in price,
or you can hold on to it for a while, live in it, and sell it in the future. Or, should you choose to rent the unit out, you can have a little extra monthly income.
But when you do sell, the price will have risen enough that you will not only recoup your original investment, but also make quite a profit. Many people actually purchase two, three or more units, and rent them out.
Some will buy multiple units to sell off all but one leaving them relatively mortgage free. This, for developers, has the advantage of selling large blocks of units, and giving someone else the responsibility of finding occupants
for the building. Investors who buy into a Destin pre-construction investment are not only sought after by developers and could receive extra bonuses and savings.
