How do I get to Ambergris Caye?

All travelers by air must connect through the international airport in Belize City. Daily connections are available through several US cities (Houston, Dallas, Atlanta and Miami being the most popular). From Belize City, travel to San Pedro is a scenic 15 minute flight. From San Pedro to Ambergris Caye you will enjoy a beautiful scenic ride in the water taxis.

The runway at the Belize City airport is being expanded to accommodate larger jets, including those from European and South American destinations and an international airport is under construction at Chetumal on the Mexican/Belizean border.
